Folks, This is for You
You helped her build a volcano that spewed Alka-Seltzer™. (She worked until 2 a.m. on molten lava that is still stuck to your countertop.) You taught him to throw a curveball. (He broke your nose with an out-of-control pitch.) You went to all kinds of contests, recitals and tournaments to cheer for your children.
You'll cheer for them at college — from afar. But you shouldn't worry if they choose Texas A&M.
Big Campus
More than 40,000 students are enrolled in Texas A&M. But our student-to-faculty ratio is 20-to-1. Students raise their hands, and their professors call them by name. And our campus may be one of the largest in the country, but it's one of the easiest to get around.
In other words, Texas A&M is big, but your favorite faces won't be just a face in the crowd.
Big Safeguards
Our campus is bigger — but safer — than most. Because our students' health and safety are important to us, our campus has hotlines for students who are stranded without rides or who want someone to walk them to their dorms. New programs such as COPS and Code Maroon work towards making Texas A&M a safe place for your child.
we even have our own emergency medical service , healthcare clinic and police department, just like your hometown.
Big Community
Outside our big campus is our even bigger community. Bryan and College Station have everything big cities have, including big-time concerts, museums, sports, stores and theatres. But they have something big cities don't have: small-town spirit. Like our campus, Bryan-College Station is not too big to feel small.
